Anvil Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, under the expert guidance of Nathan Sawyer and Jason Hall, provides safe, tailored Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training for individuals of all ages and ability levels.

 

Our focus is on personal development, empowerment, and growth through our specialised classes and memberships.

We believe jiu jitsu is accessible for everyone, regardless of age, gender or athletic ability.

Adults

 

Up Front Memberships

  • Adult Up Front 6 months - $1,000 (unlimited classes)

  • Adult Up Front 12 months $1,900 (unlimited classes)

 

Direct Debit Memberships  * 

  • Adult $50 p/week  (unlimited classes)

  • FIFO Membership $30 p/week (unlimited classes on rostered weeks off)

  • First Responder 50% off first 3 months (does not include volunteers)​

 

Adult Class Pass

  • Adult 10 x class passes $215.00

 

Casual​/Visitor

  • Adult $25 per class, includes open mat

  • Open Mat Only - $15 mat fee​

 

Private 1 hour lessons available upon request (1:1, or 1:2) 

 

Kids

  • All kids classes by term booking only - Limited availability

  • $250.00 per term (up front payment required)

  • What is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
    Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that uses grappling and ground fighting to subdue an opponent. It's a self-defense system that's also popular in mixed martial arts
  • Should I wait to get fit before trying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
    No - just jump in and give it a try. If you wait to get fit, you'll never start. BJJ is a very unique martial art, the best way to build the fitness and stamina required for jiu jitsu...is to do jiu jitsu!
  • Do I need to buy a gi (jiu jitsu uniform) to start at Anvil Jiu Jitsu?
    Absolutely not! We have many loan gi's you can use. Just wear active wear/shorts and t-shirt for your first few sessions and see if you like it before you buy any equipment
  • Is jiu jitsu safe?
    Yes, training jiu jitsu with Anvil BJJ is very safe. You will be closely monitored and provided with expert instruction at all times. We work at your pace and ability level and will never ask you to engage in anything that is dangerous to your health.
